We discovered the gem that is, Vivien Goldman, on the compilation Disco Not Disco – Post Punk, Electro & Leftfield Classics 1974-1986. She only released a few tracks and one EP but went on to co-found The Flying Lizards, write songs for Massive Attack, and now teaches punk and reggae at NYU! This track from ’81 truly foretold the dub craze of today, only now we find ourselves missing that 80s earnestness.
